One of the world's largest mining company is ditching coal

Rio Tinto Group, the world's second largest mining company, is in the process of selling off its coal mines with the ultimate goal of getting out of the coal mining business altogether. Although environmental concerns are motivating some to act against coal, Rio Tinto is choosing to dump coal from its portfolio due to coal's declining profitability. Rio Tinto CEO Jean-Sebastien Jacques has framed the decision as a question of making the most out of limited resources, according to Bloomberg,
