Most electric vehicles can't yet travel as far as gas-fueled vehicles on one battery charge, but they could edge much closer thanks to a new lithium-ion battery from Japanese battery technology company GS Yuasa. Their battery could double driving range, and the company plans to start mass producing them in around three years. Related:
